MassCOSH Committees

Child Labor Law Task Force

Comprised of youth, parents, labor representatives, community groups, young worker safety experts, and government agencies, the Child Labor Law Task Force meets quarterly with the Attorney General. Its aims are to raise public awareness of the Child Labor Laws among teens, parents, and employers and create strategies to help the Attorney General in the enforcement of the reformed laws. The task force's goal is to ensure that the Child Labor Laws protect young workers while giving them the opportunity to have productive work experiences. Legal Committee

This network of occupational health professionals and students supports MassCOSH's efforts to ensure all workers in Massachusetts are able to earn a living in a healthy and safe working environment. Immigrant Workers Center Steering Committee

The Immigrant Workers Center was created in the fall of 2000 to address the growing challenges facing low-income immigrant workers and workers of color.
